Very nice local place. Have only had lunch here but will try them soon for dinner. This trip I had the lamb burger with side Cesar salad. Both were very good. Everything fresh and locally sourced! The results m wait staff very courteous, knowledge and patient! Look forward to my next stop here. Enjoy!

Lots of great craft brews and a nice atmosphere. Fish tacos were great along with a side of black beans and fresh onions. Will need more visits to try all the different beer varieties.

Spent a great afternoon here with family and I see why they love it. The wait staff had a good sense of humor despot the busy crowd. Food was excellent and so was the bet selection.

The quality of the food here is amazing! I’ve never had a sub par meal here. It is a packed house most of the time and there is a really good reason for that.

This place smelled delicious as we walked in for dinner. Super friendly service! We had Randezvous Red wine, poutine, salad and a burger. Delicious meal!!!!

Not from Boise. On a road trip from Texas. I have tried a lot of food along the way and this place is my favorite!! Great food, vibe, and beer choices!!

This place was suggested by the locals. Visited Boise for a work trip. This place did not disappoint. The burger was fantastic and the natural cut fries were great. It's not a very big place but we were seated quickly. Food was served fast and our waiter was super friendly. Definitely would recommend if in the area.

The menu is a little limited, but what it lacks in choices it makes up in flavor, service, and a fantastic beer selection. I also like the the fact that the menu tells you exactly how local the beer is in miles - sweet!

This experience went from dicey to delightful! I came in for my first visit and was immediately faced with a difficult decision of Ruben vs Burger....I landed on burger.My waitress was polite, helpful and friendly and my order was in! After about 25 min I was politely greeted by the manager and informed my burger would be a little longer and this was very atypical of Bittercreek to take so long, furthermore that my meal would be covered by them. This customer service was greatly appreciated but not NEARLY as much as my palette appreciated the burger! It was absolutely fantastic, the moment that beautiful, salty, medium done ground beef hit my mouth the wait was irrelevant and the joy of wonderful food was immersive!Great food, wonderful service, a small snaffoo and this is a new favorite!

Great place for a quick bite or a full meal. Tons of beer choices. Bottles or on tap. Great wings. The salads were fresh and full of ingredients. The chips and queso were a nice surprise as well. The mac and cheese appetizer was a good sized portion and very cheesy and hot, my son loved it.

I love going here for a couple beers and some food. Their burgers are amazing and they have the best fish and chips in town

Happy hour here was great! We got the hand cut fries for $2, which came in a huge basket with house made ketchup -- delicious. Boise beers are $4 during happy hour, and they sell some pretty cool glassware as well.

I have traveled to Boise off and on for 7 years. I visit Bittercreek every trip. They always have a fantastic beer selection, great burgers, and friendly & attentive staff. My favorite place in Boise to kill a few hours. Thanks to Bittercreek for providing a consistently fabulous experience. (I'd give you 6 stars if you start serving sweet potato fries.)

Always a great place for burgers, brews, and good times, cold weather or warm. We bring out of town friends here for good casual nights out.

Great downtown vibe, good food!

We had never been here despite other people saying how great it was. We started with cheese curds which truly were great and the dipping sauce seriously can't be beat. We ordered a caeser salad and the huntsman burger with fries to share. Generous portion on the salad and the fries. The burger was fantastic, except that the patty was the smallest ever. Honestly seemed more like a slider size than a burger size. I get that they're local, but for the price, we expected a normal size patty. We still loved it, just wished there was more! (That's the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.)

Awesome food, Good Beer, and great vibes. They've got it all from burgers, Sandos, fried fish, and even a couple veggie options. When you factor in a selection of over 20 beers and mixed drink options, there truly is something for everyone. The pro move is to get the poutine. That's some top notch comfort food right there.

The beer is good and the server was friendly. The pretzel is the best I've ever had. However, we waited over 40 minutes for the main courses and didn't see our server again for 20 minutes after he dropped the food. He didn't even check back with us to see how everything came out. Overall, food was great but not sure it was worth the wait.

Not a Beer Drinker.... but if I were, I think the loads of different beers on tap would be a huge draw. The open atmosphere can make for a casual, but noisy experience. The food is better than your average bar fair. In the summertime the outside seating makes for some good people watching, however the patio seating is in short supply. Overall, a good, dependable place for solid american food.

I give a hearty endorsement for checking out Bittercreek Alehouse when you are in Boise, ID. You might only go there for a good selection of Idaho and Northwestern Brewery beers on tap and in bottle. However you might also go their for great Buffalo Wings. If not for great Buffalo Wings then perhaps for great fries. The hamburger, specifically the Huntsman Burger, is quite food too.

Great beer and beverage selection. Went in there on Sunday Brunch, and tried to get the Green Bloody Mary. Were told they never had such a thing, but my wife and I had both had them before. Food looked great, but we were there to drink.

Fantastic restaurant. The food is delicious, the beer selection is great (but a little over priced). It does not have a host and is fun for a late night happy hour.

Open seating, pleasant staff, great beer selection, great food. We loved the whole experience. Wife's Reuben sandwich/fries were delicious. They made her whisky sour with egg whites upon request and we both loved the flavor. I had fish n chips which has to be one of the top five ever. The Cole salad was as packed with mayo, it had a more of a tangy flavor, which I really enjoyed. Odell Bull Proof stout was so good even my wife liked it and she said she would order one sometime (she rarely likes even just a taste of a stout). When we visit again (or end up moving to the area) we'll be back here with friends n family. BTW I think the make their own ketchup and maybe tartar sauce = extremely good.

A relaxing place to have a meal, it's free seating. Good service and good beer. Interesting trout salad.

Love the vibe. I took my partner on our very first date to dinner here. The food is amazing for the most part, the salmon croquettes are disgusting and taste and have the texture of microwaved food. Once you’ve had authentic croquettes you can’t go back. Good drinks and beer. They could use some more comfortable seating. Says Redfeather and bitter creek are owned by the same entity, the vibe is very similar in both restaurants. If I had to choose between the two red feather wins hands-down every time.

It was great I have always seen this place busy but never stopped in. Experience was great plenty of great beers on tap lots of beer from idaho and from the northwest. And there bottled selection was awesome if you are into beer you will find some gems.

I completely support your decision to open June 1st. That is your prerogative. Please do not blame the federal government (Trump) for lack of guidance. You have plenty. You are a smart, grown adult who can make your own decisions. The federal government and all states are doing the best they can because NONE of us know what is going to happen. I personally do not want to be told how do make every decision in my life. Your restaurant is GREAT but I am sad to say I will not be frequenting your establishment anymore because you are obviously against our federal government. It sounds like you will be voting for Biden and I can not reward that. Also, other restaurants that are waiting are getting creative and have an attitude of "we will do our best, we are all in this together" instead of incessant whining about federal government not telling you exactly what to do and when. We are innovators...we can figure this out without big brother telling us EXACTLY HOW TO PROCEED.

Great atmosphere and very courteous staff. Mixologists are extreme quick and knowledgeable. Had the fish and chips....sooo good! The fish was fresh and flaky and the batter had the right amount of crispness and herbs, coleslaw was fresh and home cut fries! Delicious food, fun easy going atmosphere.

Stopped by for their happy hour and ordered the wings (delicious but very spicy) and their poutine (tasty but extra fatty meat). I also ordered their Old Fashion as it was their bar special and it was awful, between the 4 people I was with no one could even stand a tiny sip. Couldn’t believe it was an old fashion it tasted to bitter with no flavor.

It can be a little pricey but I love the atmosphere and a full bar.

I had one if the breast burgers I've had in a long time. Beer selection is always really good. I had a great amber ale. The server was friendly but not overbearing. Overall a great experience.

Busy family friendly establishment that earns the right to call itself an alehouse, not only with the smorgasbord of local brews but also the food to pair it with, made from, you guessed it: more local acquired and raised ingredients! The warm fun atmosphere just adds to the reason why it's withstood the test of time and maintained it's position as a Boise institution. We raise our glasses to many more fruitful years in your future!

Friendly staff and reasonable price for food .Usually I order salmon or the trout board but today I was craving the wings ...I was very satisfied with my order...Very delicious..

Went here with a colleague during a work trip. The place was over crowded on a Wednesday night. My food was burnt and I got a pathetic portion for what I paid. The server was friendly and did the best he could. But it still took over an hour to get a burger. The place felt like a hipster paradise. Definitely won't be going back. My colleague did enjoy the beer selection though. Just don't expect good food.

What a hip place. Very cool environment that is inviting with music and low light. Superb beer menu from all around the world and full cocktail bar too. No food this time, but other tables looked great. Service was friendly and very knowledgeable of beer. Prices very reasonable considering. Great downtown location that's family friendly too. Stop for a pint or a bite anytime.

Amazing food! I would definitely eat here again. Got there for an early dinner and didn't have trouble finding a seat. Service was friendly and attentive. Poutine was fantastic! Great location too.

Huge craft beer selection and the staff was experienced to know their beers. They were prepared with plenty of recommendations. I had the ribeye and it was perfectly cooked medium rare.
